Rezzly
NOTICE OF SERVICE TERMINATION
Published: July 15, 2020
Effective: August 31, 2020

Rezzly regrets to announce that effective Sunday, August 31, 2020, we will end all current services to our users. On and after that date, the site and its contents will not be available for further use.

Please continue reading below for details that may affect you as we end services.

Payment refunds:

If you have students and quest groups, you fall into one of three subscriptions arrangements with us: (1) paid access via credit card, (2) paid access via check, and (3) unpaid access. Your options are outlined below.

Paid access via credit card (including trials):

If your subscription has been paid via credit card on Rezzly (the usual case for most paying users), you have three main choices:

  • You can close your account immediately for a prorated refund of the remainder of your subscription period. This refund will be made to the credit card listed for your account. Please go to "account" (top menu) and choose to “End subscription,” then “Close immediately.”
  • If your current subscription period ends before August 31, 2020, you can cancel renewals to avoid starting a new subscription period. No refund will be issued as you’ll have received the full use of your account as previously paid for. Please go to "account" (top menu) and choose to “End subscription,” then “Cancel renewal.”
  • If you do nothing prior to August 31, 2020, your account will continue in the standard way. However, automatic renewals will be cancelled upon publication of this announcement. You can, however, use the account screen to explicitly choose to automatically renew (for instance, if you need more time before August 31). In any case, any remaining active subscriptions as of August 31, 2020, will be issued a partial refund for the remaining unused period of the subscription.

If your account is in a trial period, you will receive no refund from the trial period itself. Otherwise, the options above apply to you.

At our discretion, we may consider requests for full refunds under extenuating circumstances and only if the current subscription period began in the 30 days prior to August 31, 2020. Please contact admin@rezzly.com before September 10, 2020, to inquire.

Paid access via invoice:

In the uncommon case that your subscription was paid by invoice or check, you MUST email us at admin@rezzly.com before September 10, 2020, and request a prorated refund for the remainder of your term. We will work with you to arrange remitting a refund payment back to the same address that was invoiced for your account.

At our discretion, we may consider requests for full refunds under extenuating circumstances and only if the current subscription period began in the 30 days prior to August 31, 2020. Please contact admin@rezzly.com before September 10, 2020, to inquire.

Unpaid access (e.g., basic accounts, honorary accounts):

Since your use of the site was unpaid, no refunds are available. Your access to the site will end on August 31, 2020.

Data access and disposition:

Throughout Rezzly's history, our policy has been to retain account data indefinitely for users so that they could resume access later without interruption if they desire, except in cases where we’ve been explicitly asked to remove one’s account data per our privacy policy.

Our intention is to ensure that the privacy of your and your students' data remains protected after our services have ended. We will delete user account data, including personally identifable information (PII), from the Rezzly site no later than October 15, 2020.

If you wish to retain copies of your quests' content, you should do so by viewing or editing your quests and use a cut-and-paste technique to copy the content elsewhere. You may also find it useful to take “screenshots” from your quest pages for later reference. We're sorry, but Rezzly does not provide any automated way to download your quest content or configurations.

You should consider using the Reports feature (under “Group Manager”) to collect any student progress reports. As always, you can export report data to CSV ("comma-separated values") files for use in spreadsheets.

After August 31, 2020, we regret that we cannot provide any access to any quest content or reports.
